Established in 2003, Mountain View High School (MVHS) is an alternative education program located on the campus of Union Mine High School.  

Students at least 16 years of age who need to repair their academic status in order to graduate attend MVHS.

Students are offered the options of completing coursework individually, in small groups with direct instruction, or using CyberHigh, or any combination of the three.

All courses meet district curriculum standards.

  • Field trips to survey ROP program offerings, community and state colleges (CSU and UC campuses), and major El Dorado County employers
