Work Permits
(All Schools) |
Work permits will be issued by
the Counseling Office at each school site. When the Counseling Office is closed during summer,
a work permit can be obtained at the El Dorado Union
High School District Office, Student Services
Department, at the
address above. Please note that Student
Services will be closed for summer break from July 5
through July 25. |

Immunization
Requirement |
The recent passage of a new law (AB 354) requires
that all students in grades 7-12 will need proof of
a Tdap booster shot beginning with the 2011-12
school year. If you have any questions
regarding this new law, please contact your doctor's
office or the El Dorado County Public Health

Schedules
|
New students may
pick up their schedule at Orientation on August 4.
Returning students may pick up
their schedule on Monday, August 1, between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm, in front of the
school's main office in exchange for a completed Emergency Card and
proof of Tdap immunization.
Students who
do not pick up their schedule on August 1 can turn in their completed
Emergency Card and pick up their schedule on the first day of school
(August 8), between 7:30 and 8:25 am in front of the large gym.

Requests for elective changes will not be accepted. All

Freshman and
new student/parent orientation is Thursday, August 4, from 5 to 7 p.m.
This is for parents and students. Parents will meet with
administration from 5 to 6 pm in the theater and then go to the market
place from 6 to 7 pm for student IDs, school clothing, PE clothing, bus
info, SCRIP info, etc.
Freshman and
new students will go with our ASB director, Mrs. Slinger, from 5 to 6 pm
for a school tour and meet and greet. Students need to report to
the East Gym at 5 pm.
On Friday,
August 5, freshmen and new students will have a pool party (students
only) from 2 to 4 pm. Refreshments and popsicles will be provided.

Changes
|
No
schedule changes will be made during the first week of school,
with the exception of computer error for reasons such as incorrect
academic class, too many academics in same term, or incorrect CSF balancing.
(Note: A parent's e-mail address will suffice for the required
parent signature for all course changes submitted by e-mail.
Otherwise, a parent signature is required for course changes.)
Written course change requests
must be submitted to the Counseling Office before August 1, or
by e-mail to
Mrs. DeRosa. This request must include the
course to be dropped, the course to be added, the reason for the change
request.
